Late Shri Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, born on 30th April 1870 in Trambakeshwar near Nasik, in Maharashtra State, popularly known as Dadasaheb Phalke, was an Indian Producer-Director-Script writer, who is the Father of Indian Cinema. Dadasaheb Phalke gave birth to first India’s full length cinema named “Raja Harishchandra” in 1912 and his efforts starts to grow with the Indian cinema which comes today’s Industry.“Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Sanskrutik Kary Trust” is a non-profitable Trust runs on the philosophy that genuine results can come only when the feelings originate from the heart.
We formed the Trust with the object of sharing the socially neglected group of the Society, such as Street Children, Adivasis and Tribal community, economically backward classes who cannot afford to keep their bread and butter or cannot afford to give education to their children nor medical aid to the sick members of the family. We the “Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Sanskrutik Kary Trust” believe that though we can’t spread the light all over, but we can try to remove the darkness from some part of the society.
